Everything seemed to go well at Maternal Fetal Medicine. The super nice tech started at the top of the head and went down the body. She said everything looked fine. We saw sweet little profiles and lots of wiggling. No surprises there. Cory was a wiggle, and early on we couldn’t even get a heartbeat because it was a wiggle! She had a hard time getting a good look at the heart, but finally got something for the doctor to look at. A doctor will look at the images and write a report for my ob. At least baby was cooperative enough to very clearly show us another boy is on the way!

The important thing is that the baby is healthy. I am scheduled for an appointment on the 9th with a nurse practitioner to discuss a birth plan because of my hypertension and previous preeclampsia. She might check on the baby then too We’re both very happy and the tech was nice enough to give us some paper copies and a cd copy of some of the better shots and short video:
