Moving Along

I know every pregnancy is different, but I only have one collection of data to pull from at this point in a pregnancy! I looked back over some of the older blog posts. I’m almost 18 weeks along and at 20 weeks Jay thought he was feeling Cory for the first time. I’m barely ever feeling this one! Maybe once every three days I get some wiggles at one point during the day, but that’s it. Then I read on and laying down or soaking in the tub at 23 weeks we could both watch Cory poke and squirm appendages in my tummy. At first I thought that maybe I’m just heavier than I was with Cory, but I started at 155 with Cory and I started at 161 with lost weight the first trimester. Last check up I was at 158- so it can’t be the weight or fat in the way. Maybe this kiddo is just calmer. Cory’s been active since he found out he could move in me! I’m sure that at the ultrasound in a couple weeks they’d tell us if something was wrong. As opposed to Cory moving so much they could never get a heart beat or check on his measurements.

  • I think you feel the second one less because your uterus is all stretched out already. I read about that because I didn’t feel Ella as soon either. The poor first kid had to fight for every inch of room in there!
