Portraits
Exactly a month after Cory’s 3rd birthday, we finally got to the studio. The first two years we went to Sears. We liked that we got a CD of all the pictures with the copy right. We didn’t like their props were always broken, they were on a mounted camera, and there always seemed to be little staff. I chose Portrait Innovations for their experience and word of mouth. There was lots of staff to help get Cory participating instead of this:

A young blonde entertained Cory with falling down, smacking herself in the head, and smelling his stinky feet. He was very active and probably if you’d put the pictures together you’d get a better idea of how Chris had to take this pictures of Cory:

I liked there were lots of props to get him interested, even though those weren’t the best ones, and all the pictures were cheeper, quicker, and viewable on a large plasma. Sears has more collages and options, but all in all, it’s about the same. Jay just wants the copy right. We can have a cd to put pictures online but we can’t print them.
So I picked some stoic traditional ones like this:

and some that showed more of Cory’s real personality:

I’m currently waiting to see if Cory is going to take a nap today. He hasn’t in three days. He’s been exhausted and screaming tired every night. I am also in the middle of picking up and cleaning our bedroom. Jay ordered a new mattress and box spring and they’re delivering it and taking the old one away.
