30 Days and 30 Nights

With 30 days to go, I realize that counting down may be completely a waste of my time since my cousin, Angela, is now three days over due and there is no sign of baby. Yet some how I really don’t care. It makes me feel like there is an end in sight.  Yesterday by the end of the day,  my feet looked awful. I was so swollen I couldn’t get my sandals back on. I left work with them hanging off the ends of my feet and went to K Mart to buy the most comfortable shoes I could find. I found a pair of soft swede like sandals that stretch across my foot wide and thick and spongy and comfy. Ah. I put them on and I didn’t even care if they looked good with anything I was going to be wearing. I wore them home. Between these and thong flip flops, that is probably all I’m going to wear. I know I’m supposed to rest more and stay off my feet, especially as the weather is warmer and is contributing to the swelling, but how can I? Jay keeps telling me just get a chair in front of the classroom, but any of you who have worked with kids know that it’s too hard to keep a class going and sit. Today is the other teacher’s last day. She’s due tomorrow and she’s still bouncing around. Gym teachers…puff. I’m glad that  I’m nearing the end while it’s getting warm. I don’t think I could have done this in the summer- ugh. The good news is, I’ll be finishing up my grad class tomorrow night and presenting. Then I can actually spend my extra time (ha) finishing thank you cards from all my sweet friends and family. Sorry, if you have been waiting a few weeks. My work baby shower is this Sunday. Should be my last shower and I can finally get inventoried on what I need yet.   Like my CRIB. I still need to pack my bag. I bought some small toiletries so I don’t have to pack the ones I have. I can just have a bag ready. Still- I got a month to go- at least.
