Getting the Room Ready
Well, things are finally in motion. The couch is ready ahead of schedule. Matt came over last night to help Jay move the old couch and chair upstairs into the baby room. I scheduled the carpet cleaner to come again to do the downstairs before the couch comes. Now I have quite a bit of furniture in the baby room. It’s getting crowded in there. I can’t figure where my rocking chair goes best! It kind of needs more room than a regular chair. It will be a lot easier when I can finally see where everything is going to go instead of pushed into the baby room. I emptied out that closet, and it’s already getting full again. I still need to find some sort of wrapping paper storage container to hold my gfit bags, tissue paper, ribbons, and wrapping paper. Anyone know of a good one? There is also a book shelf of children’s books in the closet and on the top shelves, my arts and crafts supplies. Of course the book shelf that is supposed to come into the office is still sitting there. Jay did get his containers to organize his computer stuff. Maybe it will get done this weekend. He’s running out of “next weekend”s.
Courtney gave me a bunch of information I’m going to read through on cloth diapering. Seems like there are more choices than I think. I was just looking at traditional cloth diapers. I thought if the cloth diaper deal doesn’t work, I can always use the clothes for other things- burb clothes, rags, face towels, etc. Jay and I both said that we will probably try a lot of different things and not even stick to one all the time.
Jay and I are very excited to go see our baby tomorrow. I’m interested in what kind of position it’s in right now. Jay is still flip-flopping on boy or girl. According to the Greek gentleman who is the owner of the Astoria in West York, “Ees a boy. I sissy- seven right and only two wrong. Helty baby goot, but ees a boy.” I think we just won’t tell him if he’s wrong. Hate to ruin a record like that. However, I spent some time after work with some coworkers and it turns out that all but one of the four ladies said the Chinese Lunar Calendar was right for them when we looked it up. That’s pretty impressive. That’s not quite flipping the coin odds as Jay said, however, it could even out with a larger sample. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow!

Stacie is totally right,
Josh set up Emma’s crib right in the nick of time. He set it up two weekends before she was born. The time goes really fast. I’ll be anxiously awaiting when you find out what healthy baby you are going to be having!!
