Blue Moon
I was looking at the calendar seeing how my weekends are quickly filling up until the baby arrives, and then I realized something. The 31st of May is a blue moon. It’s the second full moon of the month of May. How awesome would that be to have a blue moon baby? I’m sure however that I’d never hear the end of it from Jay’s dad who calls me Blue. This solely due to the fact that when he was first introduced to me as Jay’s girlfriend when Jay and I were dating in high school, it was at some hs concert. Being the geeks that Jay and I are, we were both participating in the AV club and I was doing spot lights. There was one part in the production I needed to literally make a blue light moon on the wall. Charming. I’m not really sure how we all get our nick names from Jay’s father. Jay’s brother in law, Bryon, is called Mike, I think. I don’t know if I ever got a detailed story on that aside from the fact that Jay’s dad just can’t remember anyone’s name. I’m sure this new rugrat will have it’s own name as well. If it’s a boy, we just got to get my mom off of Hank.

Perhaps I shouldn’t point this out, but Hank McCoy, AKA Beast from the X-Men, is Blue. And furry.
